How to Utilize PostalEASE LiteBlue
PostalEase is a system used by the United States Postal Service (USPS) to manage employee benefits and payroll information. It provides USPS employees with convenient access to various services related to their pay, benefits, and work-related information. Through PostalEase, employees can make changes to their direct deposit, enroll in or modify their health and life insurance plans, and manage their Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) contributions, among other things. It offers a user-friendly interface and allows employees to access these services online or via phone, making it easier for them to handle their administrative tasks efficiently. Overall, PostalEase plays a crucial role in simplifying and streamlining the administrative processes for USPS employees.
Accessing PostalEASE via the internet, Employee Self-Service Kiosks (available in select facilities), or the Intranet (from the Blue page) may be more convenient than using the telephone.
Using PostalEASE, you can:
- Modify your current enrollment during FEHB Open Season (November 13, 2023 - December 11, 2023, 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time).
- Elect coverage as a new employee within 60 days of your date of hire.
- Add dependents' information. Note: Changes to a Self Plus One enrollment or adding a common law spouse or foster child require contacting the Human Resources Shared Service Center (HRSSC).
To verify coverage, it is essential to contact your health plan directly.
If you experience a qualifying life event and need to enroll, modify, cancel, or reduce coverage, reach out to the HRSSC for assistance.
Contact the HRSSC for assistance if:
- You are deaf or hard of hearing,
- You cannot use the telephone, internet, Employee Self-Service kiosk, or Intranet due to a medical reason,
- You receive a message in PostalEASE directing you to contact the HRSSC when attempting to make a change.
Simply call the Employee Service Line at 1-877-477-3273. Select option 5 for the HRSSC, then choose Benefits to speak with a representative.
Employees who are deaf or hard of hearing may use the Federal Relay Service at 1-800-877-8339.
