LiteBlue eRetire: Planning Your Retirement
LiteBlue eRetire is an online tool offered by the United States Postal Service (USPS) to aid employees in preparing for their retirement.
What is LiteBlue eRetire?
eRetire is a web-based application designed to help employees plan for and initiate their retirement activities.
Who Can Use LiteBlue eRetire?
eRetire is available for full-time employees who meet any of the following criteria:
- Within five (5) years of retirement eligibility,
- Within 180 days (6 months) of retirement eligibility, or
- Currently eligible for retirement (optional retirement).
Part-time (PT) and Non-traditional Full-time (NTFT) employees and Postal Inspectors require a manual annuity estimate and must contact the HR Shared Service Center (HRSSC) to request one.
What Can Employees Do in LiteBlue eRetire?
If you are within five (5) years of retirement eligibility, you can:
- Request an annuity estimate for a specific date.
- View and print your annuity estimate based on your retirement eligibility date, plus (6) six months or (1) one year.
If you are within 180 days (6 months) of retirement eligibility OR currently eligible for retirement (optional eligibility), you can:
- View and print your annuity estimate based on the first day of the next month or specific date you requested.
- Request a retirement application package to be downloaded or mailed.
- Select a specific effective retirement date within six (6) months of your request in eRetire.
- Schedule a counseling session.
